Marini Tartufi Black Summer Truffle Slices

Black summer truffle, tuber aestivum vitt, has a milder truffle flavour than its winter counterpart. Summer truffle has a wrinkled - almost bark like - black skin, with a pale beige colour inside.

The truffle slices look stunning on roast vegetable salads, beef carpaccio, scrambled eggs, or even stirred through our delicious truffled macaroni cheese recipe.

Their flavour and aroma is so mild, that it's worth giving dishes an added truffley boost with a good drizzle of black truffle oil.

These black summer truffle slices are produced in Acqualagna, the home of Italy's truffle market, by Marini & Azzolini who have been collecting and producing truffle products for over 50 years.
