The Story

Brindisa Epic Judion beans are large white beans with a creamy texture. They are also known as butter beans. Once cooked, the beans are soft and tender, soaking up the flavours around them. You can add them to soups or enjoy them cold in a bean salad.

The Epic Judion Beans are available in two sizes:

  • 500g
  • 2kg

The beans are cooked gently to preserve their shape and texture. Try braising them with garlic, white wine and herbs like sage or rosemary. Serve the beans with crusty bread or grilled octopus. Any leftovers can be blended into a smooth purée. Spread it on crostini or use it as a dip for crackers and crudités.

Judion beans are mild and creamy, so you can pair them with bold flavours. They’re wonderful with chorizo and rich meats like pork belly and lamb. They’re great at room temperature or added to slow-cooked casseroles.
