Chouseki Noodle Bowl, 17cm x 8.5 cm

The chouseki noodle bowl is ideal for serving up stir-fries, noodle soups and stews. Use the chouseki bowl to serve a hearty bowl of donburi, too. Donburi roughly translates as ‘rice bowl dish’ – Japanese rice topped with your choice of meat, fish or vegetables simmered in dashi with soy sauce and mirin.

The chouseki noodle bowl is decorated with a deep blue glaze on the outside, which fades to a sandy-coloured glaze on the inside. Japanese tableware is designed to be mixed and matched at the table with other designs, colours and textures.

If you prefer themed tableware, serve some pickles in the chouseki blue gold sauce dish and side dishes on the chouseki oblong plate.
