Fiasconaro x Dolce & Gabbana Torroncini in Gift Tin

These chocolate-covered nougat bites are a collaboration between Sicilian producer Fiasconaro and Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. Popular across Italy, torrone is a soft nougat made with sugar, honey, egg whites, and toasted nuts. It’s often given as a gift at Christmas but it’s delicious all year round.

Fiasconaro’s torroncini are studded with top quality Avola almonds and Sicilian pistachios. The bitesize morsels are then covered in milk, dark, orange and lemon-flavoured chocolate.

These tins are available in two sizes:

The colourful presentation tins are decorated with motifs inspired by the mosaics of Palermo and Sicilian ‘carretto’ (ornate horse-drawn carts).

About Fiasconaro

Fiasconaro was founded in Castelbuono, Sicily in 1953 by Mario Fiasconaro. Mario started out as an ice-cream maker and pastry chef, and his first great masterpieces were mountains of profiteroles. His three sons, Fausto, Nicola and Martino, began learning the art of pastry when they were children. Today, the three brothers still lead the company. Nicola is the production manager and an award-winning pastry chef. You’ll taste his expertise in every bite of Fiasconaro’s luxurious panettones and torrone.
