Furoshiki cloths are patterned fabrics used in Japanese culture to wrap gifts, carry goods or as decoration. Traditionally the scarves were returned to the gift giver, but these cloths make a beautiful part of the gift itself too.
This cloth is designed with inspiration from the Taisho period, where new styles of silk arose for designing stylish kimonos. This cloth series is inspired by splash patterns.
